I’m leaning heavily toward Honda CR-V

CR-V

That’s what I’m leaning to as well.

Yeah I second the CR-V thing. Specifically the post-hunchback one. 2012 and later. Those wheels specifically look like a 2012-2014 one.

Yup, CRV. Not much doubt on this one to me.

When we do these exercises, who makes sure the tip goes back to the authorities?

Yeah, I’ve been following this since it happened nearly a month or so ago. FCPD put out stock photos of a CRV and Crosstour on their BOLO a few weeks ago.
If the driver had stayed at the scene they wouldn’t have even been charged (assuming they weren’t doing something else illegal) since the guy was trying to walk across the travel lanes.

I remember that. They posted a CRV and a Crosstour as possible vehicles.
https://fcpdnews.wordpress.com/2015/11/06/upd…
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle involved in the fatal hit and run crash from November 1. The victim may have been struck by a white “full size” truck or van with chrome accessories and additional lighting similar to these photos.
Clearly, that’s not a full-sized anything, I’ll keep my eyes open for a dented, 4th gen CR-V

I don’t think so. Notice that for the 4th gen, there isn’t a kink in the rear window. For the 3rd gen, the roof line doesn’t slope enough. There’s an obvious downward curve at the rear of the suspect vehicle that the CRV doesn’t have.

I think it’s a third gen CR-V. Notice the shape of the greenhouse.

Thank you for getting this over to FCPD!
